Barcelona’s Olympics of Sound

FIVE YEARS OF MOSTRA BARCELONA

In 2026, Mostra Barcelona will celebrate its fifth anniversary. Born during the pandemic, this independent cultural project has established itself as a genuine alternative to the city's macro-festivals, placing artistic curation, community, and shared values at the heart of its approach.

From 12 to 15 March 2026, Mostra will present its most ambitious edition to date: over 35 hours of music, a unique stage with no overlapping sets, and an intimate format limited to 1,000 people per day, allowing the audience to fully experience each performance.

A FESTIVAL AT THE HEART OF AN OLYMPIC VENUE

The Olympic Pavilion of Vall d'Hebron will once again host the heart of the festival. More than thirty years after the 1992 Olympic Games, this iconic venue will transform into a vast dance floor dedicated to cutting-edge electronic music and underground club culture.

A MUSICAL JOURNEY IN FOUR DAYS

The programming unfolds like a progressive journey, moving from immersive listening to collective dance.

  • Thursday 12 March – Opening Ceremony (Casa Montjuïc): an opening evening dedicated to immersive soundscapes and attentive listening, featuring live performances by Dania & Rupert Clervaux and The Transcendence Orchestra.
  • From 13th to 15th March – Pavelló Olímpic de la Vall d’Hebron: three days of bold performances blending techno, electronic experiments and artistic discoveries.

True to its identity, Mostra highlights unique artists, often on the fringes of the commercial festival circuit, and offers a sound journey ranging from introspective ambient textures to futuristic techno and breakbeats.

REFLECTION AND COMMUNITY

Beyond music, Mostra also organises Mostra’m, a series of debates, workshops, and meetings. The 2026 edition will celebrate France, featuring discussions bringing together artists, labels, and festivals, as well as a performance by the artist Charly.

At the same time, the Fira Mostra will bring together independent labels, collectives, and publishers around a space for meeting and discovery at the Pavelló Olímpic.

AN INDEPENDENT ALTERNATIVE

Mostra is an independent cultural project supported by a non-profit association. Every euro generated is reinvested in the festival.

From 12 to 15 March 2026, Mostra returns to Barcelona as a meeting space to listen, dance, and imagine together the future of electronic music.
