Mostra Barcelona 2026

FIVE YEARS TO WRITE THE SCENE

In 2026, Mostra Barcelona celebrates its fifth anniversary, a key milestone that marks a turning point for a festival that, since its inception, has championed an independent, human model that is deeply rooted in the city. Five years later, the festival returns stronger than ever with an artistic programme of over 35 hours of music spread over four days — an edition that will kick off the cultural season with some of the most avant-garde sounds of the moment.

A SPECIAL EDITION FOR A UNIQUE ANNIVERSARY

The festival will open on 12 March with an opening day at Casa Montjuïc, a space that connects with the most immersive and horizontal soundscapes of Barcelona.

From the following day, Mostra will take over the Olympic Pavilion of Vall d'Hebron, which will once again be transformed into the beating heart of the Mostra community for three full days.

This year, the festival takes a new step: the sets will continue until 3am on Friday and Saturday, and an expanded outdoor area will be set up to make the experience even more comfortable and welcoming.

For the first time, Mostra is moving its place in the calendar, leaving behind the traditional Easter dates to take place from 12th to 15th March, at the border between winter and spring. Mostra will thus be the first festival of the year in Barcelona, opening the cultural season with a unique artistic proposal.

A PROGRAMMING WITH A UNIQUE VOICE

Mostra reaffirms its commitment to demanding curation, the search for new languages, and the discovery of artists who are shaping the sounds of tomorrow. For this very special edition, the festival presents a programme bringing together international talents, unique proposals, exclusive live performances, and major figures from both local and international scenes.

Absis & Estrato Aurora présentent Atàvic (live), Al Blayney, Angel Molina, Aerae b2b Presha, Dania & Rupert Clervaux présentent Acción y Destino (live), Lemont (live), Marylou, Melina Serser, Muted, Patrick Russell, R-010 (live), Rachael, Steve Bicknell, Substance & Vainqueur présentent Scion (live), Surgeon (live), The Transcendence Orchestra (live), Timnah, Toé, upsammy, XDB

With over 35 hours of programming and a single stage without overlaps, Mostra continues to advocate for a different way of experiencing a festival: without haste, without queues, without stress — only attentive listening, discovery, and connection.

MOSTRA: A GENUINE ALTERNATIVE

Mostra is not a festival like any other. It is an independent cultural project with a non-profit aim, supported from the beginning by a team organised as a cultural association. The festival does not rely on investment funds or external interests: every euro generated from ticket sales or the bar is fully reinvested in the festival.

Proudly human-sized: a limit of 1,000 people to ensure a comfortable, safe, and human experience.

A vibrant community: everyone is part of the scene; the atmosphere is warm, close, and open.

A unique stage: no scheduling conflicts, no stress — a continuous musical journey from the first to the last note.

A space for discovery: away from commercial circuits, we highlight artists with their own voice and proposals that you won't find at ten summer festivals.

LOCAL, INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE

Mostra is a festival guided by clear values:

Local

Anchored in Barcelona, the festival works to positively contribute to the artistic and cultural vitality of the city and its communities. Local artists share the stage with international names who then perform in clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, or Tokyo.

Inclusive

The festival is committed to reducing gender inequalities in a scene historically dominated by men and to representing the diversity that surrounds us.

Durable

Mostra works to minimise the environmental impact and maximise the positive social footprint of the festival.

Furthermore, Mostra extends well beyond the four days of the festival thanks to its satellite programmes ExtraMostra, Mostra’m, Fira, MostRadio, and MostraRespect, fostering connections and collaborations between collectives, labels, artists, and cultural actors.
