The bio of Nikitscher
The rhythmic pulse of great beats has coursed through my veins since as long as I can remember. Guided by the musical wisdom of my father, who handed me my first instruments, I embarked on a journey that led me to playing in a band. In my formative years, a deep passion for electronic music took hold, and I took it upon myself to master the art of mixing. Over the years, my musical journey has taken me to clubs and festivals across Europe and Australia.
About my music:
Behind the mixing desk, I weave together Microhouse, Minimal, Deeptech, and Techno using both CDJs and the timeless medium of vinyl. Within the confines of my own studio, I craft original tracks, and it has been a joy to witness the celebration of my Techno releases. As I continue to evolve, I am dedicated to contributing more releases across various genres, a testament to my unwavering commitment to the vibrant and diverse music community.
Interview with Nikitscher
Do the instruments from your youth influence your electronic music in any way?
I think they have a significant impact, from the structure of the music to the ear and sense of rhythm.
Can you tell us more about the clubs and festivals?
I've had the privilege of playing in many clubs in Switzerland, such as Friedas Büxe, Bagatelle, Hive, etc. Abroad, I gained experience in Australia, where I played in Melbourne, as well as in Berlin at the former Aseven, in Italy, and Vienna. I've also participated in festivals like Burning Mountain.
On your Soundcloud page, the following labels are mentioned in your bio: A-OneTune Records, BRR, SUR LA ROUTE. What sets these three labels apart?
A-OneTune Records is my own release label. At BRR (Blending Revival Records), I've had the opportunity to release music and play at parties. Sur La Route is our own event label.
Can you share more about your upcoming releases?
I took a short break from producing as I focused on my private life and family, transitioning my production style from Techno to House/Minimal. Now that I have more time for production, new releases will be coming soon.
And what do you do when you're not making music?
I work as a warehouse manager and enjoy time with my family. If time allows, I also try to find balance through fitness.
