The slipmat for
VINYL TURNTABLES
We created and produced this vinyl slipmat first and foremost out of our love for vinyl – that legendary format that transports listeners into another world. It is in this spirit that we wanted to offer vinyl enthusiasts a practical accessory with a clean, minimalist design to enhance their turntables. Moreover, through your support, this project also helps fund Sessions Sonores, our independent media initiative. Whether for personal use or as a gift for a friend, this slipmat will surely find its perfect place.
An artisanal production
In collaboration with the Fablab of Made in Chimay we produced an initial series through an experimental process that ultimately led to a more than convincing result. It all begins with cutting the "flex" material – a flexible, adhesive material – which is then manually peeled from its backing and carefully pressed onto the felt using a heat press. Prior to this, the felt itself is laser-cut for a precise finish.
